Southern Respiratory & Sleep Specialists was founded by Dr Sameh Samuel in 2017. We have locations in Corrimal (Wollongong), Hurstville and Campbelltown.

At our Corrimal rooms we conduct Diagnostic Sleep Studies, CPAP Titration Studies and Home Studies. Our facility is modern and very comfortable allowing the patient to feel very relaxed during their overnight stay. The studies are overseen by experienced qualified Sleep Technicians.

    Associate Professor Sameh Samuel

    Associate Professor Samuel works in Public and Private Hospitals, and his main interests include Airway disease, Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis, Lung cancer and intervention pulmonology (including bronchoscopy, EBUS), Sleep medicine, and Respiratory failure, Interstitial lung disease and Rare lung disease.

    Assoc. Prof. Samuel is widely involved in researches includes Asthma, COPD, Sleep medicine, Interventional Pulmonology and Rare lung disease.

    Dr Haider Naqvi

    Dr Naqvi is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician. Dr Naqvi consults with patients who may have a Sleep Disorder such as sleep apnoea, insomnia and excessive sleepiness.

    Dr Shehata provides Specialist assessment across a broad range of Respiratory and Sleep Disorders. Dr Shehata is focused on careful physiological assessments and structured diagnostic evaluation in patients with persistent or diagnostically uncertain Respiratory or Sleep presentations.
